The aim of this course is to increase technical proficiency in a various geospatial technologies through hands–on coaching.

Course Desciption

In response to the rising need for GIS professionals, managers and analysts, the African Drylands Institute for Sustainability (ADIS) at the University of Nairobi (UoN) conducts a short-term course in Geographic Information System (GIS). The course deals with analysis and management of Natural resources management (NRM). The short- course offers an introduction to methods of managing and processing Geographical Information with emphasis on data models and structures for NRM geographic data input, data manipulation and data storage, data presentation and spatial analysis.
