The Centre for Sustainable Dryland Ecosystems and Societies (CSDES) staff attended the launch of Agricultural Sector Development Support Programme (ASDSP) in Kajiado County where they got a chance to interact and share with various stakeholders and community members about CSDES project. The launch took place on 17th July, 2013 at the Maasai Technical Training Institute (MTTI) grounds.

The Agricultural Sector Development Support Programme (ASDSP) is a sector-wide Programme implemented by the Government of Kenya in collaboration with Development Partners.
The core focus of the Programme is to facilitate demand-driven, stakeholder-led and
coordinated efforts by relevant public and private sector actors. These efforts will lead to
transformation of the agricultural sector into innovative, commercially oriented, competitive
and modern industry.
