Pathways Kenya 2016 Conference

The University of Nairobi (UoN) in partnership with Colorado State University is participating in the fifth international Pathways Conference that kicked off on 9th January, 2016. The Conference will explore human-wildlife conflict and coexistence, wildlife governance, Health and many other timely human dimensions of fisheries and wildlife management topics.

 International Canopy of Conservation (I-CAN) PROJECT 2015 SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT.

The International Canopy of Conservation is a partnership between ACC and McGill University. It integrates long-term research pursued by McGill researchers in East Africa, working closely over decades with individual and institutional collaborators in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.  The major goal of the project is to assess the effectiveness of environmentally specific models for and experiments in community conservation in reconciling the imperatives of sustaining biodiversity with the amelioration of the life conditions of neighboring human communities.

Under the Capacity building initiative, the I-CAN project is offering
