The Department of Land Resource Management and Agricultural Technology offers consultancy and advisory services in soil testing, plant analysis, Microhistological analysis and interpretation to farmers
Prof. Geoffrey Kironchi and Sicily Muchira all of University of Nairobi (UoN) and Mr. Kenneth Tembe and Mr. Godfry Anyika (IGAD Sheikh Technical Veterinary School (ISTVS) in Somaliland team conducted training for Extension and Field Staff on Agronomy and Agroforestry at ISTVS in Somaliland. It is supported by World Vision through the DFAT funded Australian NGO cooperation Program (ANCP) project. The trainings comprised of Good Agricultural Practices for sustainable dryland farming.
