The college of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences  (CAVS) participated in the event, being major partners and contributors to the efforts of increasing agricultural productivity in the country in line with vision 2030 and the big 4 agenda. CAVS is a key player in areas of Agricultural innovations, food safety and quality, agricultural processing and value addition, environmental conservation and capacity development in agriculture and agro-based industry.

Clinical Studies Department actively participated in World Rabies Day. In commemorating the event, they succeeded in vaccinating over 500 dogs from rabies disease and castrating more than 100 dogs in Kiambu County. This was done by Veterinary Medicine Students from One Health Club. It was an opportunity for sensitization on the importance of vaccination against rabies.
